Transport management office

Following the establishment of the federal system in Nepal, with the objective of providing various services such as vehicle registration, ownership transfer, vehicle tax payment and bluebook renewal, route permit issuance, pollution testing, fitness checks, and the issuance and renewal of new and additional category driving licenses in an accessible manner at the district level to local general service seekers and others, and in accordance with the decision of the Madhesh Province Council of Ministers dated 2078/11/24 B.S. as per the policy provisions of the Vehicle and Transport Management Act, 2049, Vehicle and Transport Management Rules, 2054, and Procedural Guidelines 2060 (Amendment), with the main objective of this office being to provide safe, reliable, and accessible transport services for the movement of people and the transportation of goods, operations commenced from Shrawan 31, 2079 B.S. under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development of the Madhesh Province Government, and it is currently performing the mentioned tasks along with vehicle tax collection under the Ministry of Labor and Transport.
